Let us introduce you to Jim Martin and Mike White. We are excited for Jim and Mike to call Beulah Park home. We suspect they will become fast friends with all they meet.

Jeanne Schorsten, Epcon Communities Sales Specialist, said it best: “I absolutely could see Jim and Mike being on The Courtyards at Beulah Park’s HOA board due to their great insight, positive attitude, kindness and outlook towards life.”

As an unexpected bonus to this feature, Epcon is offering a special bonus to any future homeowner that goes into contract during July and references this feature (Jim+Mike). Please contact Jeanne Schorsten at 614-578-1183 or jSchorsten@epconcommunities.com for more information.

And now for the introduction….

Tell us a little about yourself. We have been together for 32 years and married five years. Jim retired from Nationwide Insurance in June of 2018 after 30 years of service in which he spent he career as a Database Administrator. Mike recently retired in September of 2019 with 30 years of service as a State of Ohio employee at Circleville Correction Factility – Department of Youth Services. We have one dog, Ardi, who we rescued two years ago and he has completely changed our lives! We both love to travel and love getting to utilize our timeshares five to six times a year. Our favorite vacation spots are Daytona Beach, Cabo San Lucas,  Aruba and Vegas.  Jim is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and attends all home games. Mike graciously puts up with his over the top fan fanatics!

Where are you are moving within Beulah Park? We are moving to The Courtyards at Beulah Park – Lot 28, Promenade Ranch.

What drew you to Beulah Park? We were drawn to the Beulah Park development because of its New Urbanism feel for the community – like an urban oasis. Being able to walk to downtown Grove City restaurants, bars and shops in a few minutes was a major factor in our decision.

What has the building process been like and can you share any words of wisdom for those looking to build? Epcon has been incredible during the whole process. We picked out our lot in April of 2019 and since then the company has gotten all future homeowners together on a social basis every couple of months to update us all on the progress of their community. It’s been a great way to meet our future neighbors and make contacts within our community. To those looking to build, we would say to stay involved in the process. There are a lot of decisions to make on picking out everything from flooring to cabinets to fixtures. Know your style and budget and stay on point.

Looking to the future, what gets you most excited about being a Beulah Park resident? Being able to leave the cars parked at home and walk and bike ride to social events in the evenings. Also, the new restaurant that is coming to Beulah Park along Columbus Street will be a great addition.
